Pop Culture-pa-looza: Join us for Medium Day!

This Saturday I’ll be taking part in Medium Day as part of the pop-culture themed panel, “Writing About Movies for Fun & Profit,” hosted by Fanfare’s Sheriff Bullock, Eric Pierce (film/media writer, funny bastard, master of the long form pop culture deep dive) and featuring Simon Dillon (cinematic maverick, literary provocateur) and Sarah Paris (film & TV writer with a whipsmart take on media, culture, and, you know, like LIFE).
We’ll be talking about what inspires and energizes us to write about the art, craft, and sometimes baffling weirdness of the pop culture universe (flicks, TV shows, music videos, intergalactic franchises, and more) and why we think it matters at all. We’ll have juicy discussion, Q&A, possibly Battle Bots (pleasepleaseplease), but mostly we’ll have a lot of fun.
